How We Met
Once upon a time, near the end of a long school year filled with math, Taiyo asked Addie if she'd like to hang out and do some math.
And so they did.
But first they watched the premiere of the Futurama reboot on Taiyo's birthday, and attended an improv show, and ate Indian food, and went logrolling, and climbed a climbing wall, and made bouncy balls from a kit.
Later on they had handstanding contests, played a million games of Dominion, took pictures of hummingbirds, snorkled, made silly gifts for each other, frequently failed to be on time, ate an avocado chocolate pie, and a purple sweet potato pie, roadtripped down the coast, dressed up as cartoon vampires, and quested for cats to pet.
After three years of hanging out, they decided they'd like to keep hanging out until one of them dies, and thus became engaged. BAM!
They have a history of dancing dorkily and enthusiastically at weddings, and hope to continue this tradition at their own. And perhaps throw in a handstanding contest or two while they're at it.
They will be married 4 years and 10 days after their first date.
